Interfaith has 8 sessions per week when people come in person to request assistance; each weekday from 9-10:45 AM as well as Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1-2:45 PM.

Each client requesting assistance is interviewed by an Intake Volunteer regarding household income and expenses as well as the situation causing the current difficulty. Then, following the policies and guidelines for assistance developed by the Interfaith Ministries, Inc. Board of Directors, a determination is made as to whether IMI can help. Assistance is given based on the amount of money available each day, the number of clients making requests, and the priority of the need. Also considered are the clients spending priorities, such as premium cable, internet, etc.

If no assistance can be given, clients are given referral information regarding other assistance agencies in accordance with Interfaith Ministries’ goal of providing information and encouragement to help people take steps toward meeting their own needs.

Bad Behavior has blocked 60 access attempts in the last 7 days.
