Community Interpreting & Translating Assistance (CITA)

The CITA (Community Interpreting and Translating Assistance) program is a network of volunteers providing interpreting and translating services free of charge, and serves the interpreting and translation needs of the Wichita Falls community and the area in Texas within a 50-mile radius. The program consists of an appointment contact person at Interfaith Ministries and a roster of volunteer interpreters.

What does CITA do?

  • Helps non- or limited-English speakers communicate in their native language
  • Helps non- or limited-English speakers access community services such as job training, education, health and social services
  • Provides these services at no cost to individuals who need help
